Fishing in the Florida Keys
Team Reel Deal typically travels to the Florida Keys during Cape Cod’s off season for some more fishing! I mean we can’t be on land for too many months. Trailering our 26′ SeaCraft boat, Reel Deal II to Marathon in 2019 and then our 33′ Invincible boat, Done Deal to Marathon again in 2022, captains Bobby and Elena Rice have acquired a lot of knowledge about trailering a boat over 1700 miles from Truro, MA to Florida and also about the amazing fisheries in southern Florida for blackfin tuna, amberjack, grouper, African pompano, yellowtail snapper, mutton snapper and more. We have many tips to add to this page, so please visit often as it is a current work in progress.
While we currently fish for fun in Florida, stay tuned for fishing charter opportunities with the Reel Deal fishing charter fleet in 2024!

Where to Launch
33rd street boat ramp. Get there early! On calm days and weekends parking lot is full before 6:00am. Weekends do allow extra parking in school lot.
Mile Marker 54 boat ramp is too tight for large center consoles. Save yourself the headache and go to 33rd street.
Where to Stay
Coco Plum on the Bay, Marathon. Large dock, be sure to read our Google review for this home.
Easy access to great Atlantic ocean fishing. Good reef fishing a few miles straight out of inlet, Thunderbolt wreck is just over 7 miles out.
