Fishing Contest

New for 2008!
Starting in June we will hold a monthly fishing contest for the largest fish in the Striped Bass and Bluefin Tuna categories. Winners will be notified at the end of the month and will receive a Reel Deal T-shirt! Keep track of who is the current leader at the Winner's Dock.

Our Boat...

Reel Deal - 23' SeaCraft Captain Bobby is currently the owner of a 23’ SeaCraft center console fishing boat, recently re-powered with twin Mercury Optimax 200. This vessel, the ‘Reel Deal’, is equipped with top of the line Furuno electronics including GPS, radar, and depth sounder, while other features include CD player, cellular phone, VHF marine radio, EPIRB, and live bait wells.

Our boat is fully equipped with all required Coast Guard safety equipment. Please let us know if you will be bringing children (under 90lbs) on board so that we have an adequate number of child-rated life vests.

Where We Fish...

^

Since our boat is trailered we have the flexibility to fish basically wherever we want.

Pamet Harbor The majority of our trips go out of Pamet Harbor, Truro, while we also offer trips out of Falmouth that fish the waters of Martha's Vineyard.

If the Fish Are There...So Are We!

Field & Stream magazine notes that 'Cape Cod has become what many saltwater anglers consider the premier striped bass fishing destination in the world' and we certainly agree!

What We Catch and How...

^

While our specialty is STRIPED BASS and BLUES, we also fish for TUNA, CODFISH, and FLUKE.

We tend to follow the general rules of thumb:

Captain Bobby has an extensive assortment of rods, reels, and tackle equipment, he even makes his own jigs to get just the right size, shape, and color. We are also a member of the RONZ Pro Staff! Casting RONZ soft baits can be just the right trick for large bass and bluefin tuna.

If you would like to go JIGGING we are all set with Penn jigging rods and reels, if they had a fishometer on them it would've flipped many times by now! Or if you prefer casting we have all the equipment that you could possibly need. We welcome all levels of anglers and are more than happy to teach new comers!

Let US know how YOU prefer to fish!
